Loading Zone and Short-Term Meter Information

Campus loading zones are for use by marked commercial vehicles or vehicles displaying a current loading zone permit. Short-term parking meters have been installed for use by employees and students for unloading and quick stops at campus buildings. Short-term meters require payment at all times.

The 30 minute time limit on these gold colored meters costs $1.00. Short-term meters may be cited with a $20 parking violation notice every 30 minutes they are expired. This will be done to encourage proper use of the meters. They should not be used by employees to attend meetings or by students to attend class.
