Freshmen Non University Housing Parking Permits

Freshmen not living in University-sanctioned housing have the following permit options. When you’re ready to buy your permit, follow the instructions at the bottom of this page to access the Parking Portal and complete your purchase. Commuter Permit
 

Annual Cost: $120

Eligibility: The Commuter permit is available for all off-campus students and can be purchased at any point in the school year in the Parking Portal. Commuter permits will go on sale July 27.

Parking Lots: 207, 209, 210, 211, 212, 214, 215, 220, 222, 232, 320, 321, 322, 500

Economy Permit
 

Annual Cost: $25

Eligibility: The Economy permit is available for all students and can be purchased at any point in the school year in the Parking Portal. Economy permits will go on sale July 27.

Parking Lots: 500

Harmon Garage Reserved

Annual Cost: $938

Eligibility: Off-campus students must complete the Harmon Garage Reserved application to be put on the permit’s waitlist.

*Students can only purchase a Harmon Garage permit once they have been offered one via email.

*If you have filled out the application and not received an offer by the first day of school, we recommend purchasing a Commuter or Economy permit to ensure you can park on campus. You can always upgrade your permit if you receive an offer later.

Available Garage Levels: Harmon garage levels 4, 5, 6

Permit Purchasing Instructions

  1. Go to the UARK Parking Portal.
  2. Log in using your UARK email and password
  3. Choose your selected permit type (only select one)
    • Only the permit options available to you will be displayed
  4. Register your vehicle and ensure information is accurate
  5. Confirm your purchase
  6. Your permit will automatically be applied to your license plate
