In Person
Come to the Transit and Parking Department between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday in the Administrative Services Building or the Harmon Avenue Parking Garage between 9:00 a.m. and 4:45 p.m, Monday through Friday and complete a vehicle registration form. All outstanding parking citations must be paid before a parking permit will be issued. Payment options for students are: cash, check, Razorbucks, Master Card, Visa, Discover Card or bill to a student account. Payment options for employees are the same as for students with the addition of payroll deduction and the exception of billing the student account.
By Mail
Contact the Transit and Parking Department for the appropriate vehicle registration form. Once that is returned with a check for the proper fee or credit card number, the permit will be mailed to you or may be picked up.
Parking Permit Types and Qualifications
Faculty/Staff Reserved Permit
Issued for a specific lot and will be sold to individuals based upon application, to be renewed annually. Priority will be given to current reserved parking permit holders then to disabled persons. When a vacancy occurs, current applications will be reviewed and applicants will be assigned to a lot based on date of application, rank and seniority. New All Area and 24 Hour Reserved permit applicants need to submit written justification by June 20 for either type of permit, which will be reviewed by the Transit, Parking and Traffic Committee and forwarded to the Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration with a recommendation for or against approval.
Faculty/Staff Permit
Full-time University of Arkansas faculty and staff members and part-time University of Arkansas employees who work at least 1,000 hours annually and are not enrolled in more than five class hours each semester.
Student Permit
Currently enrolled students.This permit allows parking in remote lots.
Student Resident Reserved Permit
Currently enrolled students living in University of Arkansas housing facilities based upon date of housing contract and space availability. Also allows parking in student and remote parking areas throughout the year.
Remote Permit
All students, faculty and staff
Garage Employee Reserved
Stadium Drive Garage parking based on date of application. This permit will also allow parking in faculty/staff, student and remote designate parking areas and lots.
Garage Student Reserved
This permit allows parking in the Stadium Drive Garage, student, and remote parking areas and lots. Issuance of this permit is based on the date of application.
Garage Resident Reserved
Currently enrolled students living in University of Arkansas housing facilities based upon date of housing contract and space availability. This is a nine month only parking permit for the Stadium Drive Garage, but will allow parking in student and remote parking areas and lots throughout the year.
