The following information is provided for operators of motor scooters on campus:
Scooters (two wheeled motorized vehicles under 50 cc) parked on campus must display a current University of Arkansas scooter permit and may park in designated scooter parking areas. According to Arkansas Law, scooters may not be ridden on the sidewalk. The scooter permit does not authorize parking in University of Arkansas motorcycle or car parking spaces.
The Transit and Parking Department will be designating scooter parking areas on campus over the next couple of weeks. These areas have been designated on the current online parking map by a purple icon similar to the motorcyle icon.
