Transit and Parking is making several improvements to the Harmon Avenue Garage this summer. These include adding rain protection to the northeast elevator to allow it to continue to operate during and after a heavy rain. Another is a modification to the railing on the ninth floor.
The third is the addition of a two lane exit on level 6 at the northwest corner of the garage and converting the current level 6 entrance/exit to a two lane entrance. We believe this will make exiting on level 6 much easier. To accomplish the conversion of the level 6 entrance/exit to an entrance only, the current level 6 entrance/exit must be closed on Thursday, May 15, and remain closed for about four weeks. During this time, please use the entrance/exits on levels 1, 2 and 4.
