Razorback Transit provides fare-free fixed route bus and paratransit service to all University of Arkansas students, faculty, staff and the general public during all hours of operation. Razorback Transit buses have wheelchair lifts and are air-conditioned. Full transit service is provided Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on class days throughout the Fall and Spring semesters (mid- August to mid- May). On final exam days, one bus will serve each route. Bus service is not provided on official University of Arkansas holidays. A list of these holidays is available on the Transit and Parking web site at http://transit.uark.edu under Transit Operations.

There is abundant parking space on the University of Arkansas campus in lot 56, at Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and Razorback Road, on the Green bus route. A University of Arkansas parking permit is required to park in this lot. The Blue and Green bus routes are served by two or more buses and schedules sometimes vary due to passenger loads, traffic congestion, weather, and road conditions. When these conditions occur, normal schedules will be resumed as soon as possible. Peak ridership periods are from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Buses are often full during peak periods, so please be at your stop at least 30 minutes before you need to be at your destination.

When road conditions make it dangerous for buses, please listen to local radio and TV stations for possible bus schedule or route changes. You may also call the University of Arkansas Inclement Weather Hotline at 575-7000 for information. Razorback Transit can provide service only when travel conditions are safe.

Call 575-RIDE (7433) or email transit@uark.edu for lost and found, route questions, compliments, suggestions or complaints.  University lost and found items may be searched from the Lost and Found link under the Current Student, Faculty and Staff and Visitors and Fans tabs on the University of Arkansas main webpage.

Reduced bus service is provided from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Monday through Friday during the Fall and Spring semesters (mid-August to mid-May). Saturday service is provided 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. during the same months. The last buses depart Union Station at 10:00 p.m except the Red route which departs at 9:00 p.m. Regular routes are not operated on home football game days. Reduced service is also provided from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday during the summer (mid May to mid August) and during the Christmas and New Year holiday break. Reduced service maps are available at the Arkansas Union information desk, Transit and Parking Department at 155 Razorback Road, Harmon Avenue Parking Garage, and on all buses. All maps are available on the Transit and Parking web page at http://transit.uark.edu under Transit Operations.

For a safe and comfortable ride please observe the following rules:

For safety reasons passengers are allowed to board and exit buses only at designated bus stops. Please do not ask the bus driver to do otherwise. Once the bus departs a stop, it cannot stop again.

Transit buses are not school buses, so please watch for oncoming traffic after you exit a bus and please do not cross in front of the bus.. Please use marked crosswalks, where available. Make yourself aware of all emergency exits on the bus.

No smoking and no open drinks or food are permitted on Razorback Transit vehicles.

Please enter the bus through the front door and exit through the rear door. If seating is not available, please move to the rear of the bus so that others can board. When standing please use the overhead and seat back handrails.

All passengers must stand behind the yellow line on each bus. Sitting or standing in the bus step wells is not permitted. Please stay seated or hold onto the handrail until the bus comes to a complete stop. Use handrails when you exit the bus as the steps maybe slick.
